Every town, nation and player on this server already has a page on this site, built out of what actually happened to them. What those pages do not have is the part only you can write: why the town is there, what it is for, who founded it and what they wanted.
That part is coming, and it will work like this.
Who may write what
- The mayor of a town writes that town's page.
- The leader of a nation writes that nation's page. That is the mayor of the capital. See Nations.
- Any player writes their own character's page.
You prove who you are through Discord, using the account link this server already uses. There is nothing else to sign up for.
A person reads it before it is published
Anything you write is checked by a person before it appears on the site. It does not go live the moment you save it. The same goes for a town or nation flag, which shows on the web map once it has been approved.
Everything on this site is meant to be true, and nobody can promise that about a sentence no one has read.
It will be clearly separate
When your writing appears, it appears under its own heading, with your name on it, marked down the side, and clearly not part of the record. What happened to your town is the record's account. What your town is about is yours. Nobody should have to guess which one they are reading.
Renaming your town will not take your writing away. It is stored against the town itself, not against its name.
