Terms

Last updated 27 August 2026

These are the rules for playing on Geopact and for buying anything from the Geopact store. They are written to be read, not to be survived. If something here is unclear, ask on our Discord and we will answer.

Who you are dealing with

Geopact is a Minecraft: Java Edition server. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Mojang Studios or Microsoft. Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang Studios.

The people who run Geopact are reachable on Discord. That is the support channel, and it is monitored. Anything to do with a purchase can also be sent to support@geopact.earth, which is answered within 72 hours.

Which law applies

These rules are governed by the laws of the United States. That governs this server's own rules — who may play, what gets you banned — and not your purchase, because anything you buy is a contract with Tebex rather than with us.

Nothing here takes away rights you have where you live. If the consumer law in your country gives you something these rules do not, that law wins.

Playing here

Anyone with a legitimate Minecraft: Java Edition account may join. There is no whitelist. Accounts must be premium: cracked and shared accounts are not allowed, because we cannot tell one person from another without them.

The world is the real Earth at 1:200 scale, and it is shared. What you build is yours to build. What someone else has built is theirs.

We can remove access to the server from anyone breaking these rules. We try to be proportionate about it and we will tell you why. Being removed does not entitle you to a refund; see the refund policy for what that means in practice.

The chronicle and the map

Everything notable that happens on the server is written down as it happens, and the whole record is public at the chronicle. That includes your player name attached to foundings, sieges and first landfalls. If you play here, expect your name to appear there. Nothing is ever removed from the record, because a record that can be edited is not a record.

The live map shows the world as it stands. It does not show where players are: player positions are never published, and player names are off by default.

Buying things

Everything in the store is cosmetic. Nothing sold there changes how the world works, for you or for anyone else, and nothing sold there gives an advantage over a player who has paid nothing. That is partly Mojang's rule and mostly ours.

Tebex is the seller. Payment is taken by Tebex, which is the merchant of record: when you buy something, the purchase contract is between you and Tebex, not between you and us. Tebex's own buyer terms apply to that transaction and are linked from the checkout. We never see your card details and we will never ask you for a password.

You must be at least 16 to buy anything, which is Tebex's rule as well as ours. If you are under 18, ask whoever pays the bill before you spend anything.

What you buy is a licence, not property. It is attached to the Minecraft account that bought it, it is for your own use, and it cannot be transferred, resold or shared. Virtual items have no value outside this server and cannot be exchanged for money. If Geopact ever stops running, they stop with it.

Packages are delivered to the Minecraft name you confirm at checkout. If you give the wrong name the goods go to whoever owns that name, which is why the store makes you confirm it before it will let you buy.

Changes

We will change these rules occasionally, and when we do the date at the top of this page changes with them. Substantial changes get announced on Discord. We do not keep a version history here; if you need one, ask.
